Insurance & Payment Information
Insurance Plans Accepted in Wisconsin and Mississippi
Uplift currently accepts commercial insurance plans for clients located in Wisconsin and Mississippi, including:
Aetna (Wisconsin and Mississippi)
Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield (Wisconsin)
Carelon Behavioral Health (Mississippi)
Cigna (Wisconsin and Mississippi)
Insurance coverage may vary by plan and individual policy. Rates for sessions covered by insurance depend on Headway’s agreements with each insurer and your individual benefits, and may differ from our standard $135 per session fee. Coverage for telehealth services may also vary, and some insurance or managed care providers may not reimburse for sessions conducted via telecommunication. Please contact your insurance provider in advance to confirm whether these services are covered under your plan.
Important: At this time, our practice is not accepting new Medicare or Medicaid clients.
Using Out-of-Network Benefits
If your insurance plan is not listed above, you may still be able to use out-of-network benefits for clinical counseling services in Wisconsin and Mississippi.
Upon request, your counselor can provide a superbill, which you may submit directly to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
Important note: Please note that clients are responsible for submitting out-of-network claims, as Uplift does not process these claims on your behalf.
Payment Process
Uplift requires a debit or credit card on file to ensure timely payment for services. Payment information can be provided securely through our electronic systems or by phone.
We use SimplePractice, a HIPAA-compliant electronic health record (EHR) system, which sends a secure link to your email for entering payment details.
For clients using insurance, Headway, our credentialing partner, may also be used to securely collect insurance and payment information.
Sessions are billed automatically after they take place.
Telehealth Counseling & Insurance
All clinical counseling services at Uplift are provided through secure telehealth platforms. Services are available exclusively to clients located in states where our clinicians are licensed, including Wisconsin and Mississippi.
Telehealth counseling offers flexibility, privacy, and continuity of care while remaining fully compliant with professional and ethical standards.
