Behind the Name and Ministry
We dedicated Uplift Counseling to Our Lady of Good Counsel and consecrated our ministry to her care. Each day, our team entrusts our work – and all those we serve – to her powerful intercession, asking her to guide and bless our team of counselors.
Our Lady of Good Counsel has been invoked by Christians for wisdom and guidance since the middle ages when she first came to the aid of a widow in need. Since then, Christians have begged Our Lady under that title to help them in their hour of need and many have received healing, conversion and answered prayers after entrusting themselves to her.
As part of our ministry under her patronage, we pray daily for our clients during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, before the Blessed Sacrament, and in our personal devotions. If you would like us to include your intentions in our prayers, please complete the Prayer Request Form.
