Hi, I’m Katie Kowalke.

I’m Katie, a licensed counselor with an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University and a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. I believe physical activity and meaningful engagement support healing and can positively influence behavior, and I integrate that conviction into my therapeutic approach.

I am passionate about working with diverse clients to promote wellness, happiness, and personal growth through purposeful activity and therapeutic engagement. I also integrate faith and psychology to support clients in discovering greater flourishing and becoming the person they were created to be.

My training and experience have taught me the value of holding space and slowing the process so clients can access deeper healing. I walk alongside individuals as they pursue greater freedom and excellence, supporting each person’s unique path toward well-being.

My Approach

What began as a passion project has evolved into something more: a careful journey of learning from our past and growing into better versions of ourselves. We’re proud of where we’ve been—each misstep, success, and quiet lesson has shaped our perspective—and even more excited for what’s ahead. What sets us apart isn’t just our process, it’s the intention behind it: we take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn, turning reflection into action and experience into meaningful growth.

Lasting impact

We build with clarity, act with integrity, and remain curious. We stay solution-focused while integrating techniques from CBT, DBT, and ACT to cultivate lifelong skills for a more integrated life.
